Liftow was thrilled to sponsor the Tournoi Rapido Presto tournament, a fun-filled 3-pitch softball event aimed at raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. With Liftow's generous donation of $500 and the enthusiasm from both the community and fellow sponsors, participants rocked the ballpark on May 11 at Parc Pierre-Mondat in Saint-Mathieu, Québec, and made a real difference in the fight against cancer. Join us in cheering for our shared triumphs as we continue to uplift our community and champion high-impact causes! Stay tuned… On June 8, our sponsorship goes one step further, by supporting the Relay for Life, in Chambly, Quebec. Participants of all ages form teams and take turns walking or running around a track or designated route, all to raise funds to provide targeted support to help people with cancer, their families, and caregivers.

Last week, Liftow's Central Division, in collaboration with North American Steel, organized a charity golf event at the picturesque Cardinal Golf Club. The purpose of the event was to raise funds for Daily Bread Toronto, a renowned nonprofit organization committed to alleviating hunger and supporting those in need. The event turned out to be a tremendous success, with a total of $18,205 raised through generous donations and raffle tickets.

On Saturday, June 10th Liftow's Western Division hosted its annual charity golf tournament in support of the Thames Valley Canadian Mental Health Association at Pine Knot Golf and Country Club. We had a record number of 64 golfers along with some additional dinner guests for the tournament. A total of $4,430 was raised this year which brought us to contributed amount over $20,000 throughout the years since we have been hosting the tournament. A big THANK YOU to the staff at CMHA Thames Valley, the staff at Pine Knot, and our team at Liftow especially Jason Newell, our London Branch Manager, for making the day a success. As well thanks to our suppliers and customers who donated including Arcelor Mittal, Equipment Assets, Cascade Corp., Becker Brothers, Ross Towing, Crown Battery, East Penn Battery, Stryten Battery, Oldham Battery, Trelleborg, Michelin, Carquest, Liftrite, Coxon’s Sales and Rentals, County Towing and Waste Connection Canada. We’re hoping to continue to grow the event and increase awareness and support for the CMHA. Thank you to our customers, employees and suppliers for your participation and generous contributions.

Make a difference in our society and participate in the Fight Against Food Insecurity. Volunteering at @Moisson Montréal is a great way to strengthen ties with colleagues. What could be more motivating than rallying our efforts within the largest food bank in Canada. At Liftow, it is important to help people carry the load.
